Am 03.10.2022 fliegt Wizzair laut Buchungssystem unter den Flugnummern W61663 und W61664 einen zusätzlichen Umlauf ab Danzig nach Dortmund.
Ausnahme zum Feiertag zur Deckung der Nachfrage, Aktionsflug zum Tag der Wiedervereinigung zwischen Ost und West oder ein womöglich nur vorübergehender Fehler im System? Vielleicht weiß jemand mehr dazu? :)

Wizz Air hat mit dem Flughafen Mostar (Bosnien-Herzegovina) ein Abkommen für Flüge ab 2023 unterzeichnet, als mögliche erste Ziele wird u.a. DTM genannt:
Mit der ehemaligen HA-LVS, befindet sich seit gestern die erste Maschine im Dienst von Wizz Air Malta. Der A321-271NX trägt nun die Registrierung 9H-WAM und ist zunächst in Rom (FCO) stationiert. Vielleicht verschlägt es ihn ja demnächst nach Dortmund. Morgen findet der Erstflug FCO-DTM statt.
Offenbar wird mehr Zeit für die Sanierung benötigt. Der Flug am Freitag, 28.10.2022, geht nun ganz kurzfristig auch nach TBS. Oder gibts hierfür andere Gründe?
Im Zuge der Triebwerksprobleme mit den PW-1100G-JM bei Pratt & Whitney / MTU hat Wizz Air nun alle 6 A320neo abgestellt. Der letzte aktive 9H-WAN fliegt heute Abend nach Bydgoszcz, wo bereits die anderen 5 eingelagert sind. Auch zwei A321neo stehen dort inzwischen ohne Triebwerke, ein weiterer in Kattowitz. 8 Maschinen fallen also derzeit aus.
In der Buchungsmaske auf der Wizz-Website tauchen Luton, Malpensa und Wien in der Auswahl auf. Zu allen Zielen sind aber bisher keine Flüge geladen. Würde zumindest zur EM passen, von den Nationen in denen die Destinationen liegen, somit hätten wir die ersten Sonderflüge im Zusammenhang mit der Meisterschaft.
Edit: laut airliners.de sind auch andere deutsche Städte betroffen, Sonderflüge zur EM scheinen somit recht wahrscheinlich der Grund zu sein.
